Staff members

There is no doubt I could not carry out my responsibilities as your MP without the help of the staff I employ. All my staff fulfil vital roles, helping me represent the people of Sheffield Hillsborough to the best of my ability.

In total I employ 4 people, or 3 full-time equivalents. Between them they support me in my offices in both in Sheffield and London. 

In Sheffield I employ 3 members of staff who deal with the majority of matters raised in my constituency .

These are Linda Redfern, who is my full-time Office Manager and Diary Secretary. Her responsibilities involve looking after my diary  both in Sheffield and London as well as making sure the Sheffield Office runs smoothly.

Alongside Liz is Simon Newsum who is employed as a Constituency Assistant. Simon supports Liz and Steve, who works in my London office.

Steve Wilson is my second full-time employee and works in both my London and Sheffield offices. His main responsibilities are political research, press relations and communication. Steve also supports me in dealing with the more complex casework and strategic constituency issues.  He is also my husband.
